Voice of Time

10/19/14

Ignore me. I want nothing. Except to be lost.
You cannot abuse me. You can only set the trap. You must walk in circles, offering
your own hand in greeting. I am always here and here and here, still there when you’re
gone.
A red sweater frozen in a glacier. Do not trust this education because it is the only
one you will get and it knows nothing about limits. You must invent those yourself, just
as you have invented this moment.
If you were really yourself, your life might pause happily in midstream. But only
history describes such rest and day by day it grows less accurate. Even now you are
someone new.
And now not even him.
