Voice of Forgetfulness
It says some things I’ve never heard before and cannot repeat. Too young to
understand the trees, too old to reach for the shadows.
I follow the mistake that is a mistake only because I follow it. And the wind
assembles another destination.
I climb out, their hearts spilling. My body says some things I’ve never heard before.
I climb out. I climb in and its engine starts me. I climb out and I’ve been here before, so I
climb in and I’ve been here before, their hearts spilling.
