Hangdog the Hunger Artist
Hangdog is a hunger game specialist. He knows all the variations of Solitaire and
Stool Pigeon, which are the same game, where beating yourself is winning. In the game
of Stampers faces may be forgotten. Bob and Slap is a variation for beginners.
Professionals play Hobnail. Hangdog is a ruthless cheerleader.
Staying Alive too is a game of chance with many foolish players. When Hangdog
is referee, everyone suffers.
In the game of May We Cross Your Golden River? there are many tricks and only
the sun can win. Hangdog is a batboy. There is no ball, except the sun. In the game of
Stone, no one may move, no one may breathe, no one may die. The object is to slowly
fall apart. The winner may grow corn.
