Reaching your potential
04/09/07
Carry blind sighs on downtrodden shoulders,
a bit tongue and cheek,
when sitting in the sun.
Emotions run high when the skin starts peeling,
take a little bite to see where it’s from.
Without any passion, there can be no soul,
just go ask the hairless werewolf,
he knows all about steaming ahead,
and a lack of gesticulation.
Carry a water pistol, to soak all lost potential,
try to hang it out to dry,
inside out and upside down,
then watch how it grows like a butterfly,
the kind of beauty that never dies.
Without any passion, there can be no soul,
just ask the wealthy hobo,
he knows all about biding his time,
and a need for provocative clothing.
